Halo: Campaign Evolved Officially Announced During Xbox Showcase

Halo Studios officially showcased Halo: Campaign Evolved during the Xbox Games Showcase, confirming the long-rumored remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved. Built with modern technology while preserving the spirit of the 2001 classic, the game introduces enhanced visuals, refined gameplay mechanics, and brand-new story content. The announcement marks a major milestone for the franchise as Xbox celebrates its 25th anniversary.

A Modern Reimagining of a Classic

Halo: Campaign Evolved is a ground-up remake that recreates the original campaign with updated graphics, improved animations, remastered audio, and modern controls. The development team aims to preserve the iconic gameplay that made the original a landmark first-person shooter while refining level design and combat for today’s players. The remake is powered by Unreal Engine 5, delivering a significant visual upgrade without losing the feel of the ratutogel link classic adventure.

New Story Missions Expand the Narrative

One of the biggest additions revealed during the showcase is Operation: METEORITE, a three-mission campaign that takes place before the events of the original game. These new missions expand the Halo universe while remaining faithful to the series’ military science-fiction atmosphere.

Enhanced Multiplayer and Cross-Platform Support

The remake supports two-player local split-screen on consoles and online cooperative play for up to four players. Cross-play and cross-progression are available across Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Steam, and PlayStation 5, allowing friends to play together regardless of platform. These features modernize the classic Halo experience while making it more accessible to a wider audience.

Launch Date and Editions

During the Xbox Games Showcase, Halo Studios confirmed that Halo: Campaign Evolved will launch on July 28, 2026, with Premium and Collector’s Edition owners receiving up to five days of early access beginning July 23. The game will also be available on day one through Game Pass, offering subscribers immediate access alongside its retail release.
